Fresh Cherry Tomatoes

cherry-tomatoes

Finally, finally I get my first batch of cherry tomatoes. The good news is the squirrels here don't eat tomatoes. Yippee!

I have been picking 1-2 cherry tomatoes from the pot every week, but today when I was watering the plants, Aswin noticed that we have couple of handfuls of cherry tomatoes ready to be picked.

I cannot resit the urge to show the red and green pearls off. The picture is going to Jugalbandi's Click. This month's theme is Bi-color.

  4. Congrats! ;-) Mine are still to get red, & the flowers are now all drying off becoz of the heat;-( so no more new fruits till it cools off here.

  5. I harvested a couple few days ago, these were the ones growing in a container. I have a patio that is pebbled so I can't grow things in the ground. But then, when I was removing some weeds I found 2 tomato plants growing through the pebbles and in one of the plants there are 30 cherry vine tomatoes. I am waiting for them to ripe a bit to harvest them. Can't wait to see them on a salad when they turn red like yours. :-)
